The purpose of this research project was to explore how global citizenship is understood across the University of Alberta campus and to develop curricula and teaching resources to foster global citizenship among University of Alberta undergraduate students.  Participants from three global citizenship education programs (International House, International Week and Play Around the World) were selected to be interviewed by the research team. Questions asked were centered on participant’s understanding of global citizenship as well as their experiences and identity as global citizens.  Respondents were then asked to reflect on key areas of global citizenship education in their programs and how these relate to wider educational experiences at the University of Alberta
